First Photo Shoot!

Today Lydia experienced her first professional photo shoot at the Picture People in Louisville. We went along with Gina and Will, who just turned one year old. He was having his picture made, so we decided to get Lydia's made as well. She did really well for the first two parts, but then by the end she had had enough. Below are a couple of the photos from the day.

June 2008

June has been a very busy month for Lydia. Although most days we have just been enjoying the summer and getting into a routine, we have gone on some overnight trips. Her first trip was to Uncle Andy & Aunt Erika's house in Indianapolis. That was followed by a trip to Grandma & Grandpa Chinn's for her first "slumber party." We just got back from a trip to Nashville for Uncle Andy and Uncle Greg's basketball camp. She has also had her first experience with the swimming pool at Grandma Rhonda's. She liked it as long as she was moving. She also is trying at times to suck her thumb. Daddy is usually very quick to switch it out for the pacifier. Here are some pictures of our month!

The Month of May

After coming home from the hospital, Lydia was introduced to many family members, friends, and our dog Magoo. She had her first doctors appointment on May 16th and had grown to be 19 3/4 inches long and 7 lbs 2 oz. Lydia attended her first baseball game and track meet this month. Also, she had a chance to meet her Great Grandma Chinn on Mother's Day before she passed away at the end of the month.

Since I am about 7 weeks late starting this blog, we will start at the beginning. Lydia was born on May 2, 2008 at 1:35 pm in Tell City, Indiana. She weighed 6 lbs 12 oz, and was 19 inches long. Here are some photos from the hospital. We got to come home on Monday, May 5, 2008.
